  • Download a copy of the Document Checklist that best pertains to you & follow our Document Upload & Label Instructions. For security purposes we do not accept emailed documents from clients.

    If you have any additional information that we should consider, please include it on your Document Checklist and upload it along with your supporting documents.

    New clients are required to upload last two (2) most recently filed tax returns.

  • Upload a current copy of your drivers license or state issued ID. Front and Back. Passport ok if no state ID.

  • A team member may potentially call you via Face Time, WhatsApp Video, or Google Meet to confirm your identity for your protection.

  • Ensure Steps 1 - 3 are complete before emailing us.

    Your tax return will be fully prepared within 3 business days for your review — provided that all required steps have been completed in full.

  • You will receive an email with detailed instructions to review and electronically sign off on tax return once it is completed.

    We are responsible for putting your tax return together based on the information you have provided to the best of our knowledge. You are responsible for the review of your own tax return before signing off on it. Our professionals also sign off on it with our professional licenses.

    If you prefer a full comprehensive guidance of your tax return and strategies on lowering your tax liability, refer to Richard Colins     standard rates. THE EXPRESS LANE may not be a good fit for you.

  • Once we receive the electronically signed documents from the link we provided, the return is e-filed within 48 hours.

    A PDF copy of your tax return will be emailed to you as required by our professional licenses. Reissued Copies Fee

    It is your responsibility to download and keep the return saved in your own personal files. It is within our professional license Code of Ethics to store a filed tax return for a minimum of 3 years.

  • ACCEPTANCE OR REJECT of your tax return is confirmed in the next email within 3 business days of filing the return.

    REJECTS may or may not require additional information/missing tax documents from a client.

    REJECTS DUE TO MISSING DOCUMENTS which are a taxpayer’s responsibility within THE EXPRESS LANE filing standards incur additional fee(s) per correspondence. Any missing documents not included in THE EXPRESS LANE service menu incur standard rates to process additional to the correspondence.
